The good news is that once again we have a strong group of enthusiastic boys and girls. An excellent mix of experienced players in their second season at U11, who I know will offer support and encouragement to the promising players moving up into the age group for this year.
As always, our aim is to provide the opportunity for all players to develop their skills, improve their knowledge and awareness of the game but most importantly enjoy their cricket and make sure it is always within a fun and friendly environment.
Maldon CC U11s will field two competitive teams in the Central Essex District League for 2019 with all players involved in a comprehensive programme of fixtures. We will also be aiming for a strong performance this year in the U11 District Cup.
Some of our players will form part of our U12 Brian Taylor Trophy squad, giving them the chance to test their skills against some of the strongest clubs across the county as well as playing up into the U13s.
