Cricket Programmes for youngsters are taking on the guise of London buses as no new ones for ages and then two come along together.
Here then if you are a parent of a primary school child is your essential guide.
First up is our very own Maldon CC

programme that commences on FRIDAY APRIL 21st.
It is designed for ALL primary school children from aged 4-11. That's everyone from Reception/Foundation year to Year 6. It lasts for 18 weeks and all sessions are 75 minutes long. Arrive from 6pm as matches commence at 6:30 sharp. It costs a one-off £8 to register and then £3 per week. Spaces are restricted to around 100 children and we are around halfway there. You can register and find more details at https://www.maldoncc.co.uk/international-nights
There will also be a BBQ every week and of course the licenced bar will be open.
A bit later in the summer, we are also a participating club in the new ECB All Stars Programme.
This scheme runs for 8 weeks and is aimed at 5-8 year olds. The sessions last 60 minutes and will take place at Maldon also on a Friday but at the earlier time of 4-45pm - 5.45pm. There is a one off cost of £40 payable to the ECB for which your child also receives a pack including a plastic bat and t-shirt etc. Further details to follow on this one.
