It's time to reveal the Maldon CC player of the month for May (and a bit of April).
There were a few nominations including Max Bryant for a splendid 93 against Hadleigh, Jack Riley for his 10 wickets whilst leading the two's and Joe Figg for his maiden 100 in the 5's.
In second place was Simon Reeve for three consecutive 50's in the 3's and 4's but our unanimous winner was Ian Elliott for his 338 runs at an average of 47.4 together with 5 wickets.
Congratulations Elmo.
(Elmo has also laid down the gauntlet for the June award with a splendid 100 and 5 more wickets on June 2nd)
