2019 Season: Week One Preview

The time has finally arrived for the 2019 Two Counties season to get up and running. With favourable weather predicted, the opening Maldon fixtures are:
Hadleigh 1st XI vs Maldon 1st XI @ Friars Road
Maldon 2nd XI vs Hadleigh 2nd XI @ Drapers Farm
Best of luck to the guys involved in those matches - it'll be interesting to see how everyone in the league stacks up in the first game out the gate.
Those who haven't been selected needn't fear as men's outdoor training starts at Drapers Farm on Tuesday 23rd at 18:00. This is an opportunity for everyone to find some rhythm and remind themselves what it's like to play outside. The opening third and fourth team fixtures are scheduled for the third week of the season so there is still time to find some pre-season form.
Finally: subs are due A.S.A.P. and membership forms can be downloaded from the 'Become a Don' tab on this website. Forms are to be returned to captains and colts managers.
