International Cricket Coming to Maldon

On Friday 14th and Monday 17th June, Drapers Farm will play host to two very notable Over 60s fixtures: England vs Australia Over 60s on the Friday and Essex vs Australia Over 60s on the Monday.

The England vs Australia fixture will be a 50 over contest starting at 11:30 and the Essex vs Australia game will consist of 45 overs and will start at 13:00.

Both games form part of the Australia Over 60s' month long tour of the UK which sees them play three ODIs against England, one against Pakistan, and eleven friendlies against county and representative XIs. The Friday 14th fixture is the first ODI against England in what is dubbed the 'Grey Ashes'.

Australia will be led onto the field by former Queensland batsman Mark Gaskell.
